Ran cross country and track all throughout high school. Met a lot of great people and enjoyed the races, travel time, and the overall process for all four years. I made varsity several times throughout high school, but had to work quite a bit for it as well. Overall, had a great experience with it though!

Personal:

Born again Christian. I have been a type 1 diabetic since 2015 and celiac since 2018, and even though I have had my struggles with it, I still strive to live a healthy life. Senior at Utah State University studying Health Science. Hoping to go into pharmaceuticals and focus on diabetic supplies and medicine, because I am quite passionate about helping those that have the same medical condition as I do.

AM- 10 slow miles. Legs were very tired today! Not sure why, but one good thing I found on my run is that the canal trail that I always like to run on is open, so hopefully the entire trail is open as well. Looking forward to some good summer runs on that route!

Once I got home from the run, I did my usual circuit workout

20 minutes on the assault bike, 10 rounds of: 1 minute stair steps, 1 minute assault bike, 1 minute plank. Lot's of lawn mowing today and tomorrow.

PM- Haven't been on the blog all week, and this is my first run all week as well. Mostly been putting in biking miles all week long and I have actually enjoyed it alot! Did this run for Ahmaud Arbery, who was shot and killed while running through a neighborhood on February 23. Pray for his family over these difficult times!

AM- 30 mile ride on my new Scott Gravel Speedster road bike that I got yesterday. Felt good on it today!

PM- 22 mile ride with the Thursday Group Ride. Had a lot of fun with some great guys! We went up Docks Beach, which has a big hill, and I got dropped pretty good going up it. Definitely different than running, but had fun. 52 miles for the day!
