AM- 2 mile warmup, then drove up to the junior high track. It is not made of real track, but just asphalt, and I didn't really mind it. Workout was 2 x 800m + 8 x 400m. Splits were: 3:03, 2:54, 86, 85, 85, 83, 84, 87, 85, 84. Not too hard, but just trying to get use to running around 5k goal pace. This is my first actual speed workout with intervals and repetitions in a long time, so I am just trying to get use to running faster than 6 minute pace again. Overall a good workout. 2 mile cooldown afterward.
