Ran cross country and track all throughout high school. Met a lot of great people and enjoyed the races, travel time, and the overall process for all four years. I made varsity several times throughout high school, but had to work quite a bit for it as well. Overall, had a great experience with it though!

Personal:

Born again Christian. I have been a type 1 diabetic since 2015 and celiac since 2018, and even though I have had my struggles with it, I still strive to live a healthy life. Senior at Utah State University studying Health Science. Hoping to go into pharmaceuticals and focus on diabetic supplies and medicine, because I am quite passionate about helping those that have the same medical condition as I do.

AM- 10.5 easy miles from Aggie, down Maine St. and then back to Aggie. 7:46 average. Also did some dynamics and 10 short strides afterward. When I was driving up to start my run, I past the park and saw several of the cross country kids running down the road back to the park. Sometimes I really miss those early morning practices of cross country.

Training alone is fun if you have a real drive to push yourself, but I couldn't wake up before 6AM to save my life unless it was to run with my goofball xc teammates. I always thought it was funny how the best XC team Uintah ever saw was also the craziest... Mason, Aaron, Christian and I were terrible role models(I still feel bad about yelling at Jordan to f himself in front of everyone at team camp(even if he deserved it for cheating at tug of war)), and then we had Kedric constantly making bad puns and you talking about scalping people with your Apache tomahawkes... it was so fun.
