AM- Today I decided to do my half marathon preparation run. The plan was to about 6 miles at half marathon goal pace, 6:05 average. My main concern in the half that I am running this Saturday is to keep the legs feeling loose and fresh. I set off and felt really good the first 3 miles. 17:52. Then I just tried to stay as relaxed as possible for the last 3. Legs got a little tight for the last little bit but overall a good pre race workout. Finished in 37;:31 for 6.1 miles, which I think I kept a pretty good pace throughout the run. Cooldown mile after. Now it is time to start tapering.
PM- Easy 3 miles out to the old church and back.
