Ran cross country and track all throughout high school. Met a lot of great people and enjoyed the races, travel time, and the overall process for all four years. I made varsity several times throughout high school, but had to work quite a bit for it as well. Overall, had a great experience with it though!

Personal:

Born again Christian. I have been a type 1 diabetic since 2015 and celiac since 2018, and even though I have had my struggles with it, I still strive to live a healthy life. Senior at Utah State University studying Health Science. Hoping to go into pharmaceuticals and focus on diabetic supplies and medicine, because I am quite passionate about helping those that have the same medical condition as I do.

The race was really big. Saw a lot of kids from Utah. Which was pretty sick. Anyway got out into the race and I was going to try to conserve the first mile and then start to pick up the pace from there. I hit the first mile at a 5:33 which isn't too bad then the 2 mile at 11:28. So my pace slowed down considerably from the first split then I just got tired and started to fatigue a little bit. It was a good exerpience had a lot of laughs and a lot of good times on the ride down. #NoBombs#CherokeeNation

So I've have been slacking in the running blog lately. I've been sick lately and didn't even go to Footlocker. But I will give a shoutout to everyone that ran NXN you guys are beasts. Utah definitely has some fast runners. Shoutout to Alek Parsons and Casey Clinger for taking too three and at Footlocker Conner and Garek making nationals. And Garek for beating Philip Rocha!!! Gonna take a few weeks off from running. Mostly just going to do Crossfit and Olympic lifting. See yah soon folks!!!
