Running Accomplishments:

Freshmen Year-  When I started on Uintah I really didn't know how I would do. Ran a 5k or two and then just started running with the team. The older kids really liked me and called me the good freshmen. I then made varsity, which kinda ticked Nathan off but I was happy with it. Time trials I ran like 18 flat. Along with Mason,Connor, and other people. The first few races went really good then I went to the doctor and he told me to get fat because he thought I was too skinny so the second part of my season was pretty crappy. I didn't get to go to state and was ticked because Nathan beat me at region.

 

Sophomore Year- This was the year that I got that dark Cherokee blood running through me and then I decided to just haul butt the whole season because I was ticked at what happened to me freshman year. The first few meets of cross country and the whole season was great. I was able to go to state and got a low seventeen for 3 miles. And track went better too. Because normally I love cross country more than track. It was a pretty good year for this Cherokee kid.

PM- Mile warmup, then 9 miles increasing pace by 10 seconds every mile or so. Started out at 7;40 pace then worked my way down to 6:50 pace for the last mile. Felt alot better for the second half of the run, than the first part of it.

AM- 5 miles easy out by the old church road and back to my house. Shoutout to Casey for defending his title NXN Champ.

PM- 4 miles. Did a mile warmup then 1 mile at 6 pace, then pushups rowing and boxjumps. Then repeated that 2 more times. The 6 pace miles felt really smooth today.

PM- 5 miles of a warmup for the hard crossfit session afterward. 25 minutes for as many rounds as possible. 50 double unders, 500 meter row, 15 box jumps, and 2 minute plank. Felt pretty strong throughout the entire run.

AM- 5 miles easy on the dreadmill. Really though it wasn't that bad when I was finished.

PM- Did another 5 miles up around Maine Street and back to my house. Really cloudly out, but overall not too bad of a run. S/O to everyone that raced at footlocker this weekend.

AM- 8 miles on the treadmill cause it snowed, and there was quite a bit of ice everywhere, but then it turned out being nice in the afternoon. My luck of course. First 4 miles I did at an easy 7:30 pace, then 3 miles at a moderate 6:40 pace, with a mile cooldown at the end. Other than the dreadmill I felt good.

PM- Decided to back off the mileage a little bit today, and do a little more strength work, and explosive movements. Did some hang squat cleans every minute on the minute for 15 minutes, then jumped right into a little conditioning work of 5 rounds for time of 50 double unders, 20 pushups, 15 box jumps. 3 miles of a cooldown afterward.

PM- 6 miles easy followed by some planks and stretching afterward. Ran from the high school down to my house, where I took the long way home, (Down Maine Street). Two pitbulls chased me on the way, which wasn't a pleasant surprise.

PM- 3.5 miles easy followed by 100 burpees for time. The run felt nice, the burpees did not.

AM- Didn't have a lot of time today, cause my uncle is here for Christmas and we went rabbit hunting for most of the day which was a blast. So I got up at 5:15 and did a 3 mile warmup. Then 3 miles at 6 pace, then a mile in 5:45, and finished with a 3 mile cooldown. Overall felt really good. Was pretty drained afterward, but I really haven't been doing much intense running, just base running.
