Ran cross country and track all throughout high school. Met a lot of great people and enjoyed the races, travel time, and the overall process for all four years. I made varsity several times throughout high school, but had to work quite a bit for it as well. Overall, had a great experience with it though!

Personal:

Born again Christian. I have been a type 1 diabetic since 2015 and celiac since 2018, and even though I have had my struggles with it, I still strive to live a healthy life. Senior at Utah State University studying Health Science. Hoping to go into pharmaceuticals and focus on diabetic supplies and medicine, because I am quite passionate about helping those that have the same medical condition as I do.

AM- 5.5 miles easy past Winnelson and back. 7:31 average. Legs surprisingly had a ton of spring in them today, considering that I ran a marathon just a couple days ago. The hip actually felt pretty good, but I am just going to run honestly whenever I feel like it for the next week or two, then I will see how everything is feeling. Also going to schedule a chiropractor appointment sometime this week.

AM- 6.6 miles from Vernal Park, to Naples Chevron, then back. Surprisingly no pain in the hip, which is great. 7:23 average. Several short strides afterward.

AM- Easy 8.4 miles from home, then ended up finishing with 3x (roughly) 200m, plus some shorter 60-80m strides. Overall the legs and body felt great this morning, and no hip pain, which is super good. I am still puzzled why I had so many hip lock ups and pains during the marathon last weekend.

AM- 6.6 miles 7:23 average. Then did a little 0.6 pickup, once I got back home. Went to the chiropractor this morning, and was able to get some adjustments for my hip. I haven't had any pain this entire week running since SLC marathon, but the chiropractor did say that I needed some alignments.

AM- 16.4 miles from the Vernal Park, out towards Naples, up Aggie, then back to the park. 7:21 average. Really needed a drink, then finished with a mile consisting of several short strides. Hip felt great, and overall I felt strong today. Really warm out this morning!
