Ran cross country and track all throughout high school. Met a lot of great people and enjoyed the races, travel time, and the overall process for all four years. I made varsity several times throughout high school, but had to work quite a bit for it as well. Overall, had a great experience with it though!

Personal:

Born again Christian. I have been a type 1 diabetic since 2015 and celiac since 2018, and even though I have had my struggles with it, I still strive to live a healthy life. Senior at Utah State University studying Health Science. Hoping to go into pharmaceuticals and focus on diabetic supplies and medicine, because I am quite passionate about helping those that have the same medical condition as I do.

AM- Nice 5 mile walk this morning, listening to Mark Levin podcast. Going to start my late spring/summer training block next Wednesday. I have already signed up for the Dino Half that is coming up in a few weeks, plus some other races throughout the summer. Might do some mileage this week, with a longer run on Saturday, but not a lot this week.

AM- Just an easy run from the park, out to Naples Chevron, then back. Might double today with another easy run tonight, because I really have wanted to get in a run at night since most evenings lately have had pretty nice weather.

PM- 6.6 easy miles from Aggie and down Maine. Had some light rain about halfway through, but then it cleared up towards the end. 7:23 average.

AM- Got out for my run a little later in the morning today. (11 am). In reality it wasn't very warm, but it just felt pretty toasty outside this morning. Probably because I have been used to running in weather cooler than 50 degrees. Overall felt pretty good!

AM- 16.4 miles on the same route as last Saturday. 7:39 average. Legs felt pretty good until about 5 miles in, then they felt pretty heavy after that. 2.2 mile cooldown afterwards at Legacy, just trying to flush out some of that heavy-leg feeling.
