Met a lot of great people and enjoyed the races, travel time, and the overall process for all four years. I made varsity several times throughout high school, but had to work quite a bit for it as well. Overall, had a great experience with it though!

| AM- 8 miles on the canal trail. 7:38 average. Saw two 2 point bucks and a couple of does and fawns. Nice morning!
PM- 5 miles easy from the park. Hip and mobility afterward. Blood sugar dropped some towards the end of the run.

| AM- 2 mile warmup, 4 mile tempo run 6:08 average. 4.1 mile cooldown back to the car. The tempo felt harder than it should have today, but it was my first one for this training block, so I am not too upset about it. Probably will do this same route for a lot of my tempos, because of it being very flat.

| AM- 9 mile easy progression run from the rec center through half the canal trail and back. 7:15 average. Last mile in 6:31. Going to Grand Junction today and tomorrow to tour the Colorado Mesa campus. Should be fun!

| AM- Drove to Grand Junction yesterday and toured the Colorado Mesa University campus. Really awesome school, and may consider going there next fall. Nice 8 mile run this morning around the city! 7:22 average pace.

| AM- 50 minutes easy doing loops at Naples Park. Started having a little bit of achilles pain/tightness yesterday, and it felt alright today, but not great. Didn't want to push it today, and if I have any pain tomorrow, I will probably have to cancel my long run and possibly bike and cross train tomorrow and Sunday. I don't want a long term injury!
