Ran cross country and track all throughout high school. Met a lot of great people and enjoyed the races, travel time, and the overall process for all four years. I made varsity several times throughout high school, but had to work quite a bit for it as well. Overall, had a great experience with it though!

Personal:

Born again Christian. I have been a type 1 diabetic since 2015 and celiac since 2018, and even though I have had my struggles with it, I still strive to live a healthy life. Senior at Utah State University studying Health Science. Hoping to go into pharmaceuticals and focus on diabetic supplies and medicine, because I am quite passionate about helping those that have the same medical condition as I do.

PM- Tempo today. Went out with Kedric Clayton and Talon. Good run today besides my lungs dying about 2 miles into the tempo. Started out at a good pace. 6:07 first mile. Then picked up the pace some and hit a 5:54 second mile. Then it was me and Kedric together for most of the tempo. Hit 3 miles in 18:14 and then ended the last mile with a slower 6:32. Felt pretty good for most of it. S/O to Kedric for killing it on the run with me today!!

Was really excited for the race today. Felt really good and was ready to tear it up!!! Warmed up 3 miles throughout the afternoon before my race started. I was the third runner so I had a little while before my race. Got out good and legs felt fresh. First mile 5:32. Kept going strong and hung with the pack. Didn't get my 2 mile split cause I tried running without my watch today. Kept pushing through most of it. I felt really good on the hills today so I thought I put in a pretty good effort. Wanted to break 17 today really bad but it wasn't the day I guess. I only have 3 meets left and the counts state so hopefully it's 3 meets for sure. This year has gone by so fast. I don't want it to be over.

AM-   4 miles easy out at the trail by Holladay. 

PM- Did a medium tempo tonight out by the golf course. Only a 4 miler but still got some fast running in. Average pace 6:24. Plank work after.
