Running Accomplishments:

Freshmen Year-  When I started on Uintah I really didn't know how I would do. Ran a 5k or two and then just started running with the team. The older kids really liked me and called me the good freshmen. I then made varsity, which kinda ticked Nathan off but I was happy with it. Time trials I ran like 18 flat. Along with Mason,Connor, and other people. The first few races went really good then I went to the doctor and he told me to get fat because he thought I was too skinny so the second part of my season was pretty crappy. I didn't get to go to state and was ticked because Nathan beat me at region.

 

Sophomore Year- This was the year that I got that dark Cherokee blood running through me and then I decided to just haul butt the whole season because I was ticked at what happened to me freshman year. The first few meets of cross country and the whole season was great. I was able to go to state and got a low seventeen for 3 miles. And track went better too. Because normally I love cross country more than track. It was a pretty good year for this Cherokee kid.

AM- 8.5 miles easy. 8:00 average. 10 strides and drills afterward. During this next training block, I am going to try to get in more stretching, strides/drills, and strength/core training.

PM- 4 miles easy. Core/strength routine afterward. GPS watch was off for the first mile or so. Feeling really good though!

AM- Mid morning run with Ty. 8:05 average. Nice to catch up with him, and see how his training is going. Also glad that I am feeling better after being sick the past two days with some type of stomach flu.

AM- 7.3 out to Naples and back. 7:41 average. Legs felt ok, but breathing wasn't as good as yesterday's run. 
PM- 3.2 mile shakeout in LaPoint after mowing my grandmas lawn. She has a nice 1/2 mile long dirt road, which was nice! 8:01 average.

AM- 10 miles on the Flume Trail. I was planning on going out 6 miles to make it 12 total, but once I got out to about 5 miles, the snow started to build up pretty good and I didn't want to worry about falling, so I just turned around there. Really enjoyable run though! 10:37 average.
