Ran cross country and track all throughout high school. Met a lot of great people and enjoyed the races, travel time, and the overall process for all four years. I made varsity several times throughout high school, but had to work quite a bit for it as well. Overall, had a great experience with it though!

Personal:

Born again Christian. I have been a type 1 diabetic since 2015 and celiac since 2018, and even though I have had my struggles with it, I still strive to live a healthy life. Senior at Utah State University studying Health Science. Hoping to go into pharmaceuticals and focus on diabetic supplies and medicine, because I am quite passionate about helping those that have the same medical condition as I do.

AM- 10.2 mile easy progression run starting at 8 minute pace and working my way down to 6:50's. 7:10 average. Tried out some hand warmers this morning, and they worked for most of the way, except for the last couple of miles.

AM- 10.5 miles from the park, down Vernal Ave. and Maine, then back to the park. 7:47 average. Kind of wanting to do a workout, but I am still just building my base back up. Also the roads are a little bit slick for tempos or interval work, and I am just beginning this training block for my spring racing schedule.

AM- 14.2 mile easy medium long run. 7:15 average. This was my longest run since Vegas, and even though I wasn't feeling great at the beginning of the run, I started to get into a rhythm as the miles went on.

PM- 50 minutes easy followed by core and weights. Haven't done much strength training lately, but I know I need to do more of it.

AM- 10.25 easy progression run. 7:24 average. Might run tomorrow and try to go for 80 miles on the week, which would be a mileage PR. Depends on how I am feeling tomorrow. One goal that I have this winter or spring is to hit 100 miles in one week (from Monday to Sunday).
