Ran cross country and track all throughout high school. Met a lot of great people and enjoyed the races, travel time, and the overall process for all four years. I made varsity several times throughout high school, but had to work quite a bit for it as well. Overall, had a great experience with it though!

Personal:

Born again Christian. I have been a type 1 diabetic since 2015 and celiac since 2018, and even though I have had my struggles with it, I still strive to live a healthy life. Senior at Utah State University studying Health Science. Hoping to go into pharmaceuticals and focus on diabetic supplies and medicine, because I am quite passionate about helping those that have the same medical condition as I do.

AM- Long warmup, 10x 1 minute hills, cooldown. Good hill workout today, but they were pretty tough, because I haven't done these dirt hills for over two years. Thinking about doing my first century ride sometime soon, so that should be quite an experience. Don't know if I should do loops around town, or a totally random route, like Vernal to Rangely, CO and back.

PM- McCoy Flats: Slippery When Wet Trail Run w/ the Vernal Trail Runners Group. Nice and easy running with them tonight.

PM- Rode my bike to Lapoint for the first time today. Mowed lawns once I got there, which was kind of miserable in the 90 degree weather.

AM- Shorter progression run down Diamond Mt. There are about 50 head of cows in the field, and they started to charge towards me. Good thing that my dad was there with the truck to herd to them out of my way. 6:57 average, then a short half mile cooldown to get to 5 for the morning.
