Ran cross country and track all throughout high school. Met a lot of great people and enjoyed the races, travel time, and the overall process for all four years. I made varsity several times throughout high school, but had to work quite a bit for it as well. Overall, had a great experience with it though!

Personal:

Born again Christian. I have been a type 1 diabetic since 2015 and celiac since 2018, and even though I have had my struggles with it, I still strive to live a healthy life. Senior at Utah State University studying Health Science. Hoping to go into pharmaceuticals and focus on diabetic supplies and medicine, because I am quite passionate about helping those that have the same medical condition as I do.

AM- Warmup on the assault bike with some higher resistance and then just decided to do a good run out by the golf course. 5miles.

PM- 3 mile shakeout towards Maine Street then back down highway 40. Average pace 6:42

PM- 9 miles out to the gun range and back. Decided to take it really easy on the way out, and then the last 1.5 or so start to pick it up.

PM- Today in weight training Stensgard had us do the mile for one of our test. I had totally forgot my running shoes or even flats this morning. So no running shoes no warmup whatsoever. Just me and my good ole slip on shoes that I have had since like 8th grade. Ran just a 5:40, which I really didn't care too much about this so I will be more prepared next time we test the mile.

After school I went out for 7 easy. Didn't have guitar practice tonight so I went ahead and did 3 on the treadmill with 2.5 being at 6 flat pace. Felt a little bit of lactic the first few minutes but then it went away.

PM- 7.5 miles in the afternoon. I am really gettting a impatient, so I really want to do a race of somekind. Good thing the Turkey Trot is next Thursday, cause I really feel like running somewhat fast.

Later in the evening after hanging with the fam, decided to do a 2.5 shakeout.

AM- Did a pretty good little session of crossfit this morning. Some hang squat cleans, box jumps, and strict pullups.

PM- Did a quicker 3 miles at 6:16 pace, then did an easy 3 miles of cooldown.
